Appeal for witnesses following assault on Arundel Avenue, Liverpool

Merseyside Police are currently in attendance at Arundel Avenue, Liverpool following reports that a man had been assaulted in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday 4th June).

Officers were called just after midnight to reports that a fight had taken place involving a number of men.

The ambulance service also attended, where they located a 43 year old man on Croxteth Road. He was taken to hospital with minor arm and head injuries. He later confirmed that his car, a grey Peugeot and his wallet had also been stolen.

Hartington Road is temporarily closed at the junctions of Croxteth Road, Arundel Avenue and Fern Grove. Arundel Avenue is also closed between Hartington Road and Brompton Avenue whilst officers remain at the scene carrying out further CCTV, forensic and house to house enquiries.
