Appeal for witnesses following road traffic collision in Southport

We are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision in Southport in the early hours of Sunday 11th August.

At around 3.30am it was reported that a white or silver vehicle reversed along West Street colliding with two pedestrians who were stood on the pavement close to the concrete bollards outside the Chop House public house.

Both pedestrians – a 59 year-old man and a 29 year-old man - suffered leg injuries and were taken to hospital.
