Appeal for witnesses following RTC in Hunts Cross

We are appealing for witnesses following a one vehicle road traffic collision in Hunts Cross this afternoon, Tuesday 6^th August. 

We were contacted at 2.20pm to reports that a grey Mazda car had collided with a tree in the Asda car park at Hunts Cross shopping park. It is not believed at this stage that any other vehicles were involved.

The occupants of the car, both elderly females, have been taken to hospital with serious injuries.

We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or has any information which could assist the investigation to DM @MerPolCC, call 101 or the Matrix Roads Policing Unit on 0151 777 4757 quoting log 541 of 6^th August.
