Appeal for witnesses following serious RTC in Knowsley

We are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision in Knowsley in the early hours of this morning, Sunday 29 September.

At 1.20am, emergency services were called to the East Lancs Road, Liverpool-bound, between Blindfoot Lane and Knowsley Lane, to reports of a collision between a Kia Picanto and a stationary wagon parked in a layby.

The driver of the car was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The road has now been reopened.
