CCTV issued after jewellery theft in Liverpool city centre

We have issued a CCTV still of a man we believe may have information that could assist an investigation into a theft from a city centre jewellers.

The incident happened between 11.50am and midday on Saturday 31 August at Beaverbooks, in St John’s Precinct.

A man asked staff if he could view two diamond rings and a diamond bracelet, but when presented with this jewellery he snatched the items and ran from the store.
