Four arrested and drugs and suspected stolen goods seized following warrant in St Helens

We have arrested three men and one woman and seized suspected heroin, cocaine and suspected stolen goods following a warrant in the St Helens area yesterday, Thursday 13 June.

At 7.40am, a warrant was carried out at an address in Providence Court and two men were detained and suspected drugs and suspected stolen items were seized.

A 36-year-old woman from St Helens and a 43-year-old man from St Helens were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and handling stolen goods.

During the search, a blue Ford Focus was sighted in nearby Charles Street and officers searched the occupants. Suspected cocaine and heroin were found and seized.

A 54-year-old man from Huyton was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and drug driving following a roadside test.
A 36-year-old man from Huyton was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.

All four were taken to police stations for questioning and have all been released under investigation as enquiries continue.
