Further arrest in James Taylor investigation

Detectives investigating the murder of James Taylor in Liverpool last week, have this afternoon (Thursday, 14 February) arrested a fourth man in connection with the incident. 

A 50-year-old man from Everton has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder and has been taken to a police station for questioning.

Three others arrested in connection with this incident have been released on police bail or under investigation, pending further enquiries.

Officers remain on the streets in and around the area of Holy Cross Close this evening and the mobile police station will be staffed until 9pm - officers would urge anyone who has any further information about this incident, to speak with officers on the ground, contact @MerPolCC or 101.
