James Taylor murder: Third man arrested

A third man has been arrested during an armed police operation as part of the investigation into the murder of James Taylor in Liverpool.

The 24-year-old was arrested on suspicion of murder at a property in Hamilton Road, Everton, at 2.10pm today, Monday 11th February.

He has been taken into custody where he will be questioned by detectives.

A 31 year-old man and a 35 year-old man arrested over the weekend in connection with the murder have been released on conditional bail.

We are continuing to appeal for anyone who has information about the murder of James Taylor, which took place in Addison Street, Liverpool city centre, on the evening of Thursday 7th February, to contact us.

High visibility and armed patrols are continuing in the local area and CCTV and forensic enquiries remain ongoing.
