Man, 22, charged with city centre assault

We have charged a 22 year-old man with s18 wounding following an assault in Liverpool city centre in February.

It was reported a 19-year-old man had his left ear cut open with a piece of glass, at an apartment block on Bold Street, in the early hours of Saturday, 2 February.

Dean Borg, of Hesketh Way, Bromborough, was charged with s18 assault and remanded into custody. He will appear in court today, Tuesday 30^th July.
