Man arrested in connection with the murder of George Bala Lloyd-Evans

Detectives investigating the murder of George Bala Lloyd-Evans, have arrested a man in connection with his death this afternoon (Friday, 7 June).

A 32-year-old man from Toxteth has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in police custody for questioning.

Mr Lloyd-Evans died in the early hours of Sunday, 2 June as result of an incident on Back Colquitt Street, Liverpool city centre.
