Man charged with murder of Hassan Ahmed Mohamoud

A man has been charged with the murder of Hassan Ahmed Mohamoud in Toxteth on 28 March.

Officers were called to Bentley Road at around 1.35pm that day to reports a man had been stabbed in the neck.

Mr Mohamoud, 29 years, later died from his injuries in hospital.

Abdillahi Ahmed, 28 years, of Devonshire Road, Toxteth was arrested the following day (29 March) and has been charged with murder.

He has also been charged with Section 18 wounding after another man was reportedly stabbed at an address on Devonshire Road, Toxteth earlier on 28 March.

Ahmed appeared at Liverpool Crown Court today (Tuesday 25 June 2019) and has been remanded in custody with a trial set for 2 December 2019.
