Op Castle - Wirral man charged with burglary in Pensby

Detectives working on Operation Castle, the force's ongoing response to burglary across Merseyside, have charged a Wirral man with an offence last year in Pensby.

18-year-old Peter McNoon from Birkenhead was charged with a burglary which occurred in Rosemead Avenue on 20 October 2018, in which entry was forced to a house and electrical items, jewellery and car keys were stolen. A Mini Countryman was stolen and subsequently recovered in the Birkenhead area. 

Following enquiries, McNoon was produced from prison yesterday (Tuesday 26 March) and charged with the offence. He has been returned to prison and will next appear on Wednesday 8 May at Wirral Magistrates Court.
