PD Kane collars suspected burglar hiding under washing maiden in Litherland

With the help of our PD Kane, officers in Sefton have arrested two teenagers on suspicion of burglary following an incident in Litherland in the early hours of this morning, Tuesday 23 July.

At 2.55am, a call was received of suspicious males on Ash Road. Upon police arrival, they were seen to make off. One male was a detained in an alleyway off Beech Road and a second was tracked by PD Kane and found hiding under a washing maiden in a garden nearby. A number of items were recovered for forensic enquiries to be carried out, including bolt cutters and gloves.

Both were taken to police stations for questioning.
