Police continue to appeal for dashcam footage following Southport RTC yesterday afternoon

Merseyside Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses following a serious RTC yesterday afternoon (27^th Feb).

Officers were called to Lord Street, Southport shortly before 5pm to reports that a collision had taken place involving a bus and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a woman in her 40s was taken to hospital with head injuries and currently remains in a critical condition.

Officers are currently gathering CCTV but would like any passers-by, whether on foot, or in a car with dashcam footage to get in touch as a matter of urgency as we continue to establish the full circumstances of the incident.
