Police investigating stabbing in Wirral - Do you know those responsible?

Merseyside Police are currently in attendance of Woodburn Blvd, Wirral this evening (16th March) following reports of a stabbing.

Officers were called to Woodburn Blvd at 6.40pm after a 19 year old man had been reportedly stabbed in the back. He was taken to hospital where his condition is described as serious but stable.

House to house, forensic and CCTV analysis is ongoing to identify those responsible.

Detective Inspector Lee Wilkinson said: “Anyone who chooses to pick up a knife could be throwing away their lives and destroying the lives of others. We want anyone who saw this crime take place or knows who is responsible to get in touch as a matter of urgency.”
