Two men arrested following stabbing in Anfield earlier this month
Detectives investigating a stabbing in Anfield earlier this month have arrested two men.
At 10pm on Tuesday 10 September, officers were called to Sleepers Hill to reports of a man in his 30s having been assaulted, receiving multiple stab wounds and being treated in hospital.
Following enquiries, two suspects were yesterday (Tuesday 24 September) stopped in a car in Liverpool City Centre and detained.
A 26-year-old man from Anfield and a 22-year-old man from Old Swan were arrested on suspicion of Section 18 wounding and taken to a police station for questioning.
