Two men arrested in connection with business robberies in Liverpool

Detectives investigating a series of armed robberies in Liverpool have arrested two more men in connection with the offences.

Yesterday (Tuesday 19 June) a 39-year-old man from Dingle was arrested and questioned on suspicion of seven robbery offences which have happened this month, and involved staff at businesses being threatened with what is believed to have been a shotgun.

He has been released on conditional bail while enquiries continue.

A 42-year-old man from Aigburth was also arrested yesterday on suspicion of these offences. He remains in custody for questioning.
