Two more firearms recovered in Liverpool

This morning (Thursday 18th April), officers from the Liverpool Targeted Team, in the course of an ongoing investigation, have recovered two guns and ammunition in Highgate Street, Edge Hill, Liverpool.

Sergeant Reynolds of Liverpool Targeted Team said: "This is a significant recovery which means we have been able to take two more dangerous weapons off our streets. These guns have a serious potential to cause fear, harm and even death.

"We are relentless in our pursuit of individuals who pose a danger in our communities and urge anyone with information or concerns to speak to us so we can investigate accordingly."
