Unexplained death - Huyton

Merseyside Police can confirm officers are in attendance in Huyton this morning (Thursday, 28 February) following the discovery of a man's body.

Police and paramedics attended Bowring Park Gold Course at around 9am and recovered the body of a man thought to be his 50s.

Enquiries are ongoing to formally identify the man and inform his next of kin.

At this time the death is being treated as unexplained.

A post-mortem will be conducted to establish the cause of death.
