Unexplained death in Speke

We are investigating following the unexplained death of a man in Speke today (Friday 26 April 2019).

Emergency services were called to Dymchurch Road shortly before 3.30pm to reports a man, aged 46, had a suspected cardiac arrest in the front garden of a property.

Paramedics attended and he was sadly pronounced dead at hospital a short time later.

Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of his death, and to formally identify the man and inform his next of kin.

At this time officers are treating the death as unexplained and a post mortem will take place to establish the cause of death.
