Wanted Wirral man arrested and charged with multiple offences

We have arrested and charged a wanted man from Bidston in connection with multiple offences following enquiries by Wirral officers yesterday, Wednesday 10 April.

Around 9.30am, officers attended at an address in Rosedale Road, Tranmere and found the man in the loft.

45-year-old Ian Clifford Cooper of Arkle Road, Bidston was arrested and has been charged with the following offences:

Burglary dwelling; theft of a motor vehicle; and fraud, all relating to an incident in Higher Bebington earlier this month, in which items including bank cards, a wallet, keys and three vehicles were stolen, two of which have been recovered.

Possession with intent to supply heroin and crack cocaine, in relation to drugs seized from an address in Oxton last year.

Cooper will be appearing at Wirral Magistrates Court today, Thursday 11 April.
