Well done Banjo! Three arrested and cash / drugs seized following foot pursuit in Anfield

Matrix officers with the assistance of our PD Banjo (pictured) have arrested three people and seized drugs and cash following a foot pursuit in Anfield yesterday, Monday 25 March.

At around 10.05am, a male was sighted on a mountain bike in suspicious circumstances in the Priory Road area. Following a pursuit, and assistance from PD Banjo, a 16-year-old boy from Anfield was detained and will be appearing at a later date on suspicion of possessing cannabis.

A 14-year-old boy from Anfield was detained at a nearby address, and arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cocaine after suspected Class A drugs were found in the address.

He has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.

A 33-year-old woman from Anfield was also arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs, and has been released under investigation.
