Elgin library to welcome acclaimed author Alex Gray
ELGIN library will welcome acclaimed author, Alex Gray, later this month.
As part of her national tour launching her latest book The Stalker, the new DS Lorimer novel, Alex Gray will deliver a talk at Elgin Library on Thursday 28 March at 7pm.
Alex is a regular on the Scottish bestseller lists, and her previous novels include Five Ways to Kill a Man, Glasgow Kiss, Pitch Black, The Riverman, Never Somewhere Else, The Swedish Girl and Keep the Midnight Out. She is the co-founder of the international crime writing festival, Bloody Scotland.
The new novel deals with Detective Superintendent William Lorimer's wife, Maggie, at a time when her first book is published. Joy soon turns to fear when a mysterious stranger starts following Maggie on her publicity tour.
Crime fiction has been the most popular genre of books borrowed from Moray's libraries for some time now and to have another renowned author of this type is sure to thrill not only readers of murder mysteries but all avid readers.
Waterstones of Elgin will be selling copies of the book on the evening and Alex will be signing any copies purchased.
