Social Care assistants wanted!

Moray Council are now recruiting Social Care Assistants – Have you got what it takes?

We’re currently looking for Social Care Assistants across the Moray area who are interested in joining our team.You will support adults in their own homes who have disabilities, long term health problems or experiencing a sudden change in their health and wellbeing. You will be based in a locality but must be prepared to work across Moray. We are also looking for peripatetic Social Care Assistants to cover holidays and sick cover on a contractual basis.

Experience for the role is not always necessary; we’re looking for people with life experience who have good values and an understanding of the principles of care. You should be caring, honest and reliable, and be willing to learn new skills & knowledge through continued learning. Social Care Assistants are required to use technology as part of their everyday role, including mobile phones and participating in online learning.

All new recruits must complete a three-week comprehensive induction programme.

We offer variable contracts ranging from 13 ½ hrs per month and 13 to 32 ½ hrs per week.
