Volunteers needed for job clubs

VOLUNTEERS are being sought for job clubs in Moray.

A job club is held every Thursday in Elgin from 10am - 4pm, and every Monday in Forres from 2 – 4pm. They are suitable to anyone who is actively trying to return to work.

Job seekers attending the club benefit from assistance to apply or search for jobs online, create or update CVs and cover letters, work on their job logs and updating their Universal Credit claims.

The skills required are computer skills, job training, basic computer trouble-shooting - mainly with online job applications, cover letters, interview skills, and assisting with online job applications.
