Who Wants To Be a Nectar Millionaire?

This October, Nectar is rewarding customers with the chance of winning exciting prizes ranging from 50 to 1million points when they use their card at Nectar partners including Sainsbury’s, Homebase, BP and First Group. In addition, partners shopping at Homebase, and booking trains through First Group will receive double points, whilst those shopping with Expedia will receive triple points!*

As the UK’s largest loyalty programme says Thanks a Million to its loyal customers, a number of Nectar’s partners, including eBay, Virgin Trains, Hertz and American Express, will also be giving customers the chance to become ‘Points Millionaires’ during October, with these on-the-spot prizes set to surprise and delight  randomly selected customers when they swipe their Nectar card.*

Nectar cardholders can also be rewarded when they visit the specially created Thanks a Million microsite at www.nectar.com/thanks. There they can find tips and hints on how to boost their balance with the ‘Nectar Points Maximizer’ and be given the chance to thank friends, family and colleagues on the site’s ‘Thank you wall’. Nectar will also be offering three lucky collectors 1,000 Nectar points every day when they participate in the ‘hide and tweet’ competition on Twitter, with everyone who tweets being entered into a final prize draw to win a bumper 10,000 points.

Running from the 30 September to 31 October, the Thanks a Million event will see Nectar and its partners reward cardholders with incredible offers and prizes, including:

·  Instant prizes of up to 1 million Nectar points when cardholders spend with:

-  Sainsbury’s (17-19 October)

-  BP (30 September- 27 October)

-  Homebase (17-24 October)

-  FirstGroup (throughout October)

·  Double points on certain dates in October when cardholders spend with FirstGroup (throughout October) and Homebase (3-5 October), as well as double points on all items sold during October and November through Oxfam’s ‘Tag Your Bag’ scheme

·  Triple points when spending with Expedia from the 3 – 5 October

·  Entry into prize draws with the chance to win up to 1 million Nectar points when cardholders spend with eBay (3-9 October), and with Virgin Trains, Hertz and American Express throughout the whole of  October

·  82,000 points when customers buy a new boiler with British Gas before the 30 October
