Niam recruits Senior Director, Portfolio Management

Niam, one of the leading private equity firms in Northern Europe specializing in property, has appointed Maria Hägerdal as Senior Director, Portfolio Management where she will replace Urban Ehrling. Prior to joining Niam, Maria was the Head of Asset Management at Landic Property. At Niam, Maria will be responsible for managing Niam’s property portfolios in Sweden, with a market value of approximately €1.1 billion. Urban will take a new position at Niam as Senior Director, Project Development and will remain in Niam’s Management Team.

The changes will come into effect on April 27, 2009.
