Niam sells 72.5% of Sektor Gruppen, the second largest shopping center company in Norway

Niam, a leading Nordic real estate private equity firm, signed an agreement with an investor group in Norway to sell a 72.5% share of Sektor Gruppen. The investor group consists of Joh. Johannson AS (31% share), Varner Invest AS (27% share) and Home Invest AS (14.5% share). Sektor Gruppen is the second largest shopping center company in Norway with NOK 15.7 billion in annual turnover through its 26 owned, leased and managed shopping centers.

During the two and a half years that Niam has owned the company, the turnover has grown by 40 percent, as a result of expansions, acquisitions, and new centers under management. Niam will own 27.5% of the company going forward.

The transaction value of the company was in excess of NOK 7 billion.
