Where to have your Office Christmas Party - Soho - A Last Minute Guide

We’re not being divas, if you still haven’t planned your office Christmas party, then it really is a case of grabbing a last minute booking now.

Next in our “Where to have your office Christmas party series” is Soho. At the heart of the West End, Soho offers an eclectic mix of food and drink, theatre, music, shopping and of course, nightlife. Soho office space attracts a wide range of organisations, from film production companies and modelling agencies to charities; all wanting a unique celebratory experience. We’ve compiled a list of venues to take your team for a celebration befitting the local area- bright, bold and certainly stylish.

Brasserie Zedel

Brasserie Zedel is a traditional French restaurant serving classic brasserie dishes. In the most beautiful 1930s building, at the heart of Piccadilly is a restaurant, bar and cafe, meaning whatever time of day you find yourself there, you’ll be well fed or watered. Zedel is one of those London establishments where you can disappear downstairs and lose a good chunk of the day. The decor, the food, the service all reminds us of a Wes Anderson movie. Without being twee, you’re transported to someplace a little different- perfect for capturing the magic of Christmas. Bar Americain, the adjoining cocktail bar provides the perfect nook for aperitifs, or after-dinner drinks. If you visit on a day there’s live music, Zedel can provide the ultimate Christmas package. They do take bookings, and last minute arrangements for a small team just might work out. We heartily recommend it, and the beef bourguignon, just saying.

Bar Soho

Bar Soho is a London institution and during the festive season it’s much more than just a ‘dirty night out’! For Christmas, Bar Soho offer a choice of canapes, bowl food or a sit down three course meal. With a number of private areas to choose from you can keep the outing as low-key as you like, or not. For those looking for something quirky, or extra special the Boudoir lounge is a mini apartment, private enough for all sorts of shenanigans. Plus you can contact the venue directly if you’d like to arrange entertainment, party themes and even a cocktail making class. Most of these options might be booked out, so it’s a good thing the main lounge is suitably extravagant to warrant an office Christmas party. After all, what’s the point of having Soho office space, if you don’t make the most of the area?

Wright Brothers

If you’ve never been to a Wright Brothers establishment, then you do not know what you’re missing! Purveyors of some of the best seafood in London, the Soho branch does not fail to deliver on taste, decor and friendly service. For the festive season you can choose from the usual a la carte menu, or three Christmas menus offering the usual fare with a festive flair. There’s nothing quirky or overly gimmicky about this place, but it is guaranteed to deliver on taste. If your team doesn’t mind getting stuck in, let them get their hands dirty with a seafood platter, and a bloody Mary (or something from their extensive cocktail menu). Perfect for something laid back, not too lengthy and absolutely delicious. You’re welcome.
