Call for volunteers

Today the volunteer manager of Oslo Pride, Bård André Bendiksen, calls on all old and new volunteers to sign up for EuroPride 2014 in Oslo.

From 20th to 29th of June this summer the whole of Europe is invited to Oslo and EuroPride 2014. EuroPride 2014 builds on Oslo Prides three main events; Pride House at the House of Literature and Museum of Cultural History, Pride Park at The City Hall Square and parade through the streets of Oslo.

To make it happen we rely on people to help out as volunteers.

- This year we need at least 400 volunteers to cover small and large roles. Initially we ask people to say whether they want to be a volunteer at Pride House or Pride Park. As the festival approaches, people will be able to register what time and date they can volunteer, says Bendiksen.

This year Oslo Pride has invested in a new system for managing volunteers. With the system we are able to follow up all volunteers closely. And through the system, we will communicate all relevant information, for example when it will be gatherings and parties for volunteers.
