Farnell element14 achieves Phoenix Contact award for its exceptional performance in 2016

Farnell element14 has been named Phoenix Contact’s UK distribution partner of the year for Device Connections for outstanding sales growth and marketing activities based around new product introductions in 2016.

Peter Birks, Farnell’s European Business President Sales and Marketing, said: “We are delighted to have been named Phoenix Contacts UK distribution partner of the year for 2016. We have added in excess of 400 new product lines into our portfolio from the device connections ranges in 2016 including SKEDD and the RPI-BC enclosure for Raspberry Pi single board computers as well as stocking over 4,000 Phoenix Contact parts in EMEA.”

Last month Farnell element14 launched the new one piece SKEDD double row SDDC product range into the market further expanding the highly innovative SKEDD direct PCB connection product range already stocked by them.

The one piece SKEDD SDDC 1.5 range enables direct connection to the printed circuit board without the need for soldering and can be inserted and removed easily by hand. On a compact 3.5mm pitch with dual rows a maximum of 32 connection points can be achieved using wires up to 1.5mm squared.
