ALLIANZ APPOINTS HEAD OF SALES AND MARKETING
Allianz Retail has announced the appointment of Simon Cook, who joins from Allianz Global Assistance, to take on the position of head of sales and marketing, broker and corporate partner.
In his new role, Simon will lead the sales efforts through Allianz's business to business channels where it continues to drive its growth through partnerships with large blue chip corporates.
He will play a key role in defining and implementing the next phase of growth within the company’s Corporate Partner business. Simon will also lead the marketing team that supports Allianz’s Retail Broker, Corporate Partner and Legal Protection divisions.
Simon’s move continues his long running connection with Allianz after first joining Mondial Assistance UK Ltd, now Allianz Global Assistance UK, back in 1998.
In his time at Allianz Global Assistance, Simon held a number of high profile roles, including Global Automotive Sales Director, where he was responsible for implementing automotive strategy, acquiring and retaining profitable business with OEM’s and proposition development of telematics services.
