Work to improve the roads in Ramsbottom

Work will start on Saturday 30 May to repair the carriageway on Bolton Road West in Ramsbottom between Woodhey Road and Park Road.

Resurfacing works will also be undertaken along Longsight Road between Bolton Road West and Avondale Drive.

During the resurfacing works, Longsight Road will be closed to vehicles travelling north towards Bolton Road West. Traffic will be diverted via Brandlesholme Road, Holcombe Road and Bolton Road. Multi-way signals will be in place at the junction of Bolton Road West and Longsight Road so that the works can be carried out.
