A £645,000 scheme to resurface the A58 Rochdale Road starts on Monday (21 March) as part of the council’s ongoing programme to improve the borough’s highways.
A £645,000 scheme to resurface the A58 Rochdale Road starts on Monday (21 March) as part of the council’s ongoing programme to improve the borough’s highways.
Work is currently under way in Bass Lane, Summerseat to repair potholes and improve drainage.
Work is now well under way to tackle flooding caused by a broken culvert in Bolton Road West, Ramsbottom.
Work will start on 1 September to signalise the junction of Bury Old Road/Whittaker Lane, Prestwich which will include pedestrian and cycle crossing facilities.
Work will start on Saturday 30 May to repair the carriageway on Bolton Road West in Ramsbottom between Woodhey Road and Park Road.
Roadworks on Bolton Road West and Nuttall Lane in Ramsbottom will take an extra day to complete.
Two new machines have hit the streets to improve road repairs throughout the borough of Bury.
