New information screens at Bedford station
New information screens at Bedford station

Press release -

New information screens have been fitted at St Albans City and Bedford stations

New and improved passenger information screens have been installed at St Albans City and Bedford stations.

The screens improve on those they replace by showing, at a glance, 30 minutes worth of departures instead of three or four departures at a time. Additionally they tell passengers where facilities such as first class, bicycle storage and wheelchair spaces are available.

Passenger Services Director Stuart Cheshire said: “These new screens offer the great benefit of enabling passengers to see more departures at once and which trains are calling at their chosen destination, all in a shorter space of time.”

The Thameslink Programme will see high-frequency services through central London and the new screens, devised by industry experts, are critical in ensuring passengers can quickly and easily find their next train.
