Online configurator for electronics housings

Housing select 2.0 allows Phoenix Contact to offer an interactive solution configurator with 3D visualisation for the first time.

With the help of intelligent combinatorics, interactive component selection, and real-time visualisation in 3D, customers are able to put together their electronics housings to suit their individual requirements in just a few steps. The desired housing family and size is easily selected, the matching connection technology is added, and the product is ready. The configurator enables user-friendly configuration of all individual components with drag-and-drop - even on mobile end devices (iOS and Android).

After selecting the desired housing family, the PCB connections that match the selected type are displayed. Finally, the individual components can be exported as a parts list or transferred directly to the shopping cart and ordered. In this way, the user is guided through the configuration process step-by-step, ensuring that they obtain the best solution for their application. The configurator can be called up by entering the web code #0512 into the text search function. All functions for both ME and ME-MAX housing families will be available at market launch.
