The new mGuard security routers from Phoenix Contact with integrated mobile phone interface make industrial communication in the worldwide mobile phone network more secure. The products have a robust metal housing, two SIM card slots, a GPS receiver, and support two or ten VPN tunnels, depending on their design. In addition, the new devices offer an integrated 4-port switch - in the most sophisticated design, this is a Managed Switch. Furthermore, SD memory cards are supported. They function as a replaceable configuration memory for fast start-up and easy device replacement.
