Oct 01, 2010 13:35 BST This year's winter season, SkiStar's ski destinations in Sweden and Norway have made extensive investments in new exciting ski areas, improved snow production and new lifts. In addition, SkiStar is offering free skiing for children during Christmas and in January and for the first time is offering a seasonal SkiPass which is valid for all destinations in Åre, Sälen, Vemdalen, Trysil and Hemsedal.

Sälen is expanding its children’s area considerably, Vemdalen is installing a new Express 6-seat chairlift, a brand-new apartment hotel is opening in Trysil called Park Inn Trysil Mountain Resort, and Hemsedal has more activities for children and young people to offer. SkiPass holders will have access to a brand new ski community, MySkiStar.
