New regional office for the East of England Stroke Association team

“We are delighted to say that we will be moving to our new offices on Thursday 26 June 2014, on Hillside Business Park in Bury St Edmunds. We are very excited about the additional space that we will be able to make available to the local stroke community in our new premises.

The new centre will have a Resources Room for visitors which includes an informal meeting space, access to computers which can be used for volunteer training, and access to Stroke Association information and advice materials.  We also have a Community Room which will be extremely beneficial for our local groups to be able to come and use. The Community Room will be used for our in-house activities including volunteer and staff training and meetings, and will be a great area for our newly appointed Regional Stroke Reference Group to meet.

One of the first tasks of the Regional Stroke Reference Group will be to share ideas for an opening celebration which we hope to host in July, when we will be welcoming local residents and those from neighbouring businesses to join us for refreshments and a look around the new centre.”
