Q-Park has added an offer to the Defence Discount Service and Blue Light Card schemes offering a 25% discount to all card holders at their quality car parks across the UK.

The Defence Discount Service is the only Official Ministry of Defence Discount service providing money off on the High Street, Hotels, Restaurants and even Attractions for members of the Armed Forces, Veterans and Armed Forces Community. Whether they are returning from a Tour of Iraq or one of their loved ones is at the other side of the world defending their Country, all family members can access these exclusive discounts.

The Blue Light Card works in a similar way to the Defence Discount Service but applies to all members of the various Emergency Services and NHS that either keep us safe or help us when we are in need across the UK. Whether you are a Paramedic, Firefighter or a Police Constable you and your family will be able to access a wide variety of unique discounts.

Q-Park is providing a huge 25% off parking when members pre-book city centre parking online. Q-Park operates a number of safe and secure parking facilities in the most prime locations in the UK’s largest cities. As well this discount, members can also download the Q-Park Rewards app, scan their parking tickets and earn a free 6th visit.

Tom Dalby from Blue Light Card Ltd, who operates both schemes said ‘With many of our discount offerings being from brands that are based in City Centres, getting a discount on parking is great for our members. We are delighted that Q-Park approached us as we feel that their quality, safe and secure car parks are an excellent addition to our discount services,

John Denton, Head of Sales and Marketing at Q-Park UK Ltd said ‘We are delighted to be able to partner with the Blue Light Card and Defence Discount Service to offer savings in our parking facilities to those who deserve it the most. It remains our objective to be the heart of our urban communities and initiatives like these help cement our positioning as the parking operator for the people.’
