Q-Park relocates its Customer Service Centre to the UK

To enhance the customer experience and support the UK economy Q-Park has recently moved its Customer Service Centre to the UK from the Netherlands.

The Dutch owned parking giant continues to grow in the UK and the new Leeds based Customer Service Centre will provide support to over 15m customers across the UK and Ireland.

The Customer Service Centre team will offer 24 hour support to customers within the parking facilities at a touch of a button. The parking facilities are equipped with the latest parking technology which allows the call handler not only to see the customer but also to control the barriers and the pay stations remotely. The support team will supplement the local teams on the ground giving customers instant assistance.

Previously the Customer Service Centre was managed by a team in the Group headquarters in Maastricht. The move was driven by the desire to offer even quicker support to customers whilst giving Q-Park the platform to continue to grow as they continue to open new facilities across the UK & Ireland region.

The industry leading parking operator is already reaping the benefits with an improved response speed of over 20% which helps support the ‘Quality in parking’ theme that Q-Park promote.

Adam Bidder, Managing Director of Q-Park UK & Ireland commented “This was a great opportunity to improve the customer experience in the region but also to help support the local economy. Q-Park closed the 2015 financial year with very good results with revenue improvement of 5.2% and we want to continue to grow our business. In order to do meet our ambitions of growth we needed to ensure that we had a customer support platform to meet our increasing demands and ensure we deliver the Quality in parking goal.”
