Q-Park UK expands London parking portfolio with Covent Garden facility.

We are delighted to announce that we have expanded our portfolio with the addition of St Martins Lane hotel car park, Covent Garden, London. Renamed as Q-Park Covent Garden, the secure parking facility is part of the exclusive St Martins Lane hotel, in a high profile central location. The permanently staffed site welcomed its first customers on 1st August 2017 and offers a full day parking solution.

Located in Bedfordbury, this facility is in the perfect location for visiting attractions including London’s bustling theatre district, the Coliseum and the Royal Opera House, Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden and Seven Dials. Ideally located for special occasions, weekend breaks and business travel, the facility will complement Q-Park’s existing London cluster.

Q-Park has introduced pre-booking to the site so that visitors can book ahead and ensure a parking space is available in the 36 space facility. The car park also has additional space including a disabled parking bay and 12 motorcycle spaces. Q-Park will introduce the latest technology, helping the hotel to procure new parking equipment which will include a Veripark Automatic Number Plate Recognition bi-directional barrier.

A number of improvements are currently being made to the facility including improved floor coating, parking bay numbering, and Q-Park house-style internal and external signage.

Adam Bidder, Managing Director of Q-Park UK, said, ‘As the market leading parking operator in London, we are delighted with this latest addition to our Westminster portfolio. We hope to bring quality in parking to the car park in partnership with St Martins Lane.’

Anne Golden, Regional Vice President, Operations & Development for sbe London, said ‘We are pleased to be working with Q-Park to incorporate their proven excellence with managing car parks. The refurbishment will update our hotel’s parking offering, making it even more convenient for the guests visiting St Martins Lane, Asia de Cuba and Blind Spot; as well as those visiting Seven Dials, Theatreland and Covent Garden.’
