Rochdale Town Hall was the majestic backdrop for a spectacular wedding fair which attracted more than 500 brides and grooms-to-be, planning their perfect day.
The highlight of the day was a beautiful bridal fashion show, with the latest designs showcased on the catwalk in The Great Hall and elsewhere in the building. Live music and entertainment also added to the occasion.
A fleet of fantastic wedding cars, ranging from sports classics to vintage machines, lined the Esplanade outside the Grade II listed building.
The Town Hall, with its grand stone stair case and vaulted ceilings, is already a popular wedding venue and the picturesque formal gardens are the perfect backdrop for the all important photos.
Sue Milne, events manager at Rochdale Borough Council, said: “We had a great turn out today and the town hall looked spectacular. We had more than 60 exhibitors showcasing the very latest wedding ideas to give couples inspiration. I would like to thank everyone who attended the show and also our fantastic exhibitors, who all helped to make the day such a success.”
