Press release -
Still time to have your say on the future of pharmacies
There has been an overwhelming
response to Rochdale Borough Council’s Improving Pharmacies survey - and there is
still time for residents to have their say.
But those who are yet to take part are advised to act quickly, as the closing date of May 25 is fast approaching.
The council is working with the NHS to gather important information about how people use their local pharmacies and residents are being urged to help shape the services provided.
This may include looking at different ways in which community pharmacists can help the public to access medicines or asking pharmacists to provide different services for specific health problems.
Michelle Loughlin, Consultant in Public Health for Rochdale Borough Council, said: “We are delighted with the response we’ve had so far, but it’s extremely important to us that as many residents as possible have their say to enable our pharmacies to continue to deliver the right service.”
The survey is anonymous and takes just five minutes to complete.
