Ocean Signal: Appoints Marinplus As Exclusive Distributor In Sweden

Marinplus will now supply a comprehensive range of Ocean Signal products, including its rescueME devices and SafeSea portfolio of GMDSS products.

Marinplus will supply the recently-launched award-winning rescueME MOB1, the world’s most advanced Man Overboard locating device incorporating both AIS and DSC technologies, and the rescueME EDF1, which is the most compact electronic distress flare with a visibility range of up to seven miles and up to six hours’ operation. The Swedish specialist will also distribute the popular rescueME PLB1, the world’s smallest personal locating beacon, and the rescueME EPIRB1, the most compact Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon on the market, along with the recently launched AIS Alarm Box which will give an immediate alarm upon detection of an AIS MOB / SART activation.

Ocean Signal’s SafeSea range offers highly reliable and easy-to-use GMDSS products, each with unique industry-leading features. Products now available through Marinplus include the V100 hand-held radio, S100 SART and E100 EPIRB.

Marinplus are also able to offer the new M100 and M100X Maritime Survivor Locating Device (MSLD) which includes an intrinsically safe version. Both the standard and intrinsically safe versions have been designed to meet the needs of the professional mariner.
