Shotgun PR Produce Promo Film for Farbridge

Nestled in the heart of the rolling South Downs hills, you'll find Farbridge, an exclusive Sussex conference and events venue, and to those in the know, 'the' place to get married.  We were delighted to meet owner John Mickerson last month, introduced to us through Fashion Photographer Chris Grout-Smith.  Their need for a promotional film was relayed and Shotgun PR jumped at the chance to get creative.

A favourite for couples looking to retreat to an idyllic countryside location to get wed, Farbridge attracts bookings from people all over the world.  The benefits of having an accessible and viral film for the business were obvious and our biggest challenge was to ensure we portrayed the location as well as the venue in its best light. 

Delighted after winning the pitch, we began to identify how and when we could shoot the venue.  Bringing friend and cameraman Alex Hartman on board too (best known for directing hit Sky TV show 'Dynamo the Magician') provided us with an additional creative dynamic.   The end result, complete with stop-motion sequence, stunning sweeping shots of the River Lavant and gliding panoramic views of the plush South Downs was a pleasure to edit - especially after two beautifully sunny days spent filming!

A stunning venue like Farbridge required an elegant film and we feel we have certainly achieved this.  As a powerful communication tool we have ensured the film is embedded into the clients website and a YouTube Channel has been created, supporting viral marketing opportunities for the business.  Moving forward, we are excited by the further PR and Marketing projects planned - so watch this space!
