Kern Herskind Nightingale joins Sitecore UK as Technical Services Director

London, UK – 5^th July 2012  Sitecore UK has announced the appointment of Kern Herskind Nightingale as its new Technical Services Director.  Kern will be leading a new Technical Services team within Sitecore UK to offer pro-active consulting and support for everyone involved in developing, deploying and managing Sitecore solutions.  Sitecore UK will develop and offer services focused on each stage of the solution delivery from initial analysis and design, build, deployment, operation and optimisation, to ensure that Sitecore solutions are built in a robust manner and conform to recommended practices.

Kern is a widely-respected Sitecore expert with considerable experience in consulting and managing Sitecore deployments, and is also a current Sitecore Most Valued Professional (MVP) for 2011 - a title he had held previously in 2009.  For the past five years, Kern has operated as a successful independent Sitecore specialist and has been involved with Sitecore solutions since 2003.  Kern started his career working as a system developer for global agency Tribal DDB and has worked in senior developer and technical director roles both in-house and as a consultant.

Sitecore is set to expand its services offering in response to rising demand from its partner network to help support an ever-increasing number of Sitecore deployments, which are also growing in terms of sophistication and integration with other solutions.
