-This year it is a special season opening weekend with both the traditional ski and snowboard test and the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup. - Åre’s organising committee is delighted to arrange the 99 and 100 races and is now preparing for upcoming hectic weeks. This is Åre´s last World Cup Competitions before the World Cup Finals 2018, then all the light will be held towards the 2019 Alpine World Championships in Åre. Another important thing is also the Junior World Championships, which will be organized in Åre 2017.
