Press release -

Gizzi Erskine's Twisted Christmas

On Saturday 14 December Tweat Up are hosting Gizzi Erskine's #TwistedChristmas - a yuletide feast with all the trimmings. They're running two fully indoor sessions at #HawkerHouse, one from noon till 5pm (great for everyone) and one 6pm till 2am (great for grown ups).

Expect festive and offbeat twists on all your favourite street foods from some of Gizzi’s favourite traders, including Breddos, Luardos, Rola Wala, Slider Bar, SmokeStak, Sorbitium and Yum Bun.

But there’s a lot more to #TwistedChristmas than delicious street food. If you went to Gizzi’s Barn Yard Party or Street Fiesta you’ll know what to expect - dressing up, dancing, eating, drinking and rock ’n’ roll.Gizzi’s lined up go go girls The Meyer Dancers, a transvestite choir, a Christmas Gift Shop (hawking homemade stocking fillers from top London chefs), a meat raffle from Turner & George, a Rumbola for all your Christmas booze needs, burlesque performances from Fancy Chance, brilliant DJs and a gang of drag queen Santas. Plus loads more.

Tickets to the day session are £10 each, which includes a glass of fizz from Street Vin. The longer, rowdier, vibier evening session will cost you a fiver more and includes a glass of fizz and a hot cocktail/hot wine. #TwistedChristmas is free entry for children under 16, so bring the kids along and make a day of it.

Eventbrite have agreed to waive its booking fee for this event so instead you're being asked to donate £1 from every ticket purchased to StreetSmart, to help raise vital funds for homeless charities this winter. These donations (plus the profits from the meat raffle and rumbola) will help reach a goal of £5,000 on the day. And with the support of StreetSmart's partners whatever is raised will be doubled For more info on StreetSmart click here.

See you in a couple of weeks.
