Yeovil stroke survivor Steve tackles daunting gaming challenge with one hand and his chin to raise funds for Stroke Association

A Yeovil man who lost the use of his right side after a severe stroke is tackling a sponsored gaming marathon using only his left hand, chin and mouth.
Steve D’Arcy will be raising funds for the Stroke Association, the only charity in the UK providing life-long support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Somerset stroke survivor urges people to check for ‘silent condition’ which can cause serious strokes

A stroke survivor from Wells is backing a charity’s plea for people to carry out a simple test on themselves in case they have a ‘silent condition’ which could cause a serious stroke.

Morwhenna completes 177 miles by boat, foot and bike for stroke

Morwhenna Woolcock, 40, from Bristol has just completed an epic adventure travelling from the Brecon Beacons to Morwenstow following (roughly) in the footsteps of the 5th century Saint Morwenna. Stroke survivor gets back in the saddle to take on the Bristol 100 for the Stroke Association
